Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 (SAT)

The magic of afrobeat returns with Seun Kuti and Egypt 80. Fela’s youngest son Seun has shouldered the responsibility of Egypt 80, the band has played together for over 20 years.

Now they are promoting a new album and hotly anticipated at Solliden. Expect weight, captivatingly precise rhythms and a new version of the music that Fela Kuti spread across the world in the 70s. Seun may be his father's musical heir, but he is also a proud developer.

New album "From Africa with Fury: Rise", co-produced by none other than Brian Eno, was released in June of 2010 and the concert will also showcase some of Fela’s old classics. Summer doesn’t get any hotter than this.
