Prylf (SUN)

The debut album "Kind Of Green " came in 2010 and with it came the suspicion that the jazz world would dismiss these experimental artists as musicians, but instead they have been embraced with open arms and got five stars from Orkester Journalen and several other music magazines.

With playfulness and courage, the young musicians of Prylf used old classic gems as a springboard for creating modern music sprinkled with glitter and chemicals. Arrangements and free improvisations take advantage of the beautiful and fragile original compositions, but does not flinch from with raw and brutal methods distorting the originals out of all recognition.
