Indigo Trio featuring Nicole Mitchell, Hamid Drake, Harrison Bankhead (SUN)

Young but powered Nicole Mitchell is a creative flutist, who constantly challenges and develop. She is also the founder of the acclaimed ensembles, Black Earth Ensemble and Black Earth Strings. Hamid Drake is an acclaimed percussionist whose CV charts a long and solid career. Together with bassist Harrison Bankhead, they form the very interesting trio Indigo Trio which mixes deep African roots, blues and soul tunes in a modern jazz interpretation.
