2010’s Jan Johansson scholarship winner and an experienced and original composer - Ann-Sofi Söderqvist brings together strong profiles to her fantastic big bands and big city jazz.

Ann-Sofi is certainly no newcomer to the jazz world, in different configurations and with various instruments; she has been working professionally since the late 70s. Today, she is primarily a composer and in the current setup, she plays trumpet and flugelhorn. And what a setup it is! The plaudits have come thick and fast following every performance with the critics unable to stop praising their imagination, uniqueness, intelligence and skill.
